We think this Egyptian cotton fouta is the perfect lightweight beach towel and spa towel. A fouta is so versatile and its uses are endless … think summer table cloth …. picnic blanket ….. sofa throw! This handwoven cotton fouta is soft, highly absorbent and dries extremely quickly.

Measuring approx. 78cm x 195cm and weighing approx. 200 grams, it is the perfect travel accessory.

Please note our foutas are handwoven on traditional wooden looms. We use handspun, hand dyed Egyptian cotton and there may be some imperfections in the weave. Colours will vary and the order of the stripes may vary with wider stripes at one and and narrower striped at the other end.

A fouta is patterned cotton fabric that was traditionally worn by men and women whilst they attended public bath houses in the 19th-century. Now a fouta is a must have beach accessory that works perfectly as a beach towel and a throw.

Machine washable at 40 degrees.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
May be hung to dry.
For best results – iron whilst damp.
