Brown Lightweight Scarf

This soft, handwoven scarf is lightweight and is the perfect all season scarf. It is great for keeping the sun off of shoulders in the summer and layers beautifully with other scarves on chillier days. Plus, this beautiful scarf works perfectly for men and women.

It took a member of our small Egyptian weaving team approximately two days to weave this long scarf using a traditional wooden loom. The embroidery was then stitched by hand by a very talented member of the team.

Our ladies, Egyptian weaving cooperative is all about helping women support their family in an area of Upper Egypt where employment options for women are limited. In addition, profits help keep girls in education for longer, which has untold benefits.

This handwoven shawl measures approximately 60cm x 180cm excluding the tassels and is woven from Egyptian cotton viscose.

Machine washable on a cool wash.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
