An extremely soft, blue striped scarf, handwoven in an Egypt in a weaving cooperative that helps to empower women. Woven by one of our apprentice weavers.

Please note: this beautiful scarf is being sold as a second due to a flaw running aling the edge of the scarf. We have used our best efforts to show this in the last photo.

This lightweight, handwoven scarf measures approx 44cm x 140cm excluding the tassels and is woven from Egyptian cotton viscose.

Machine washable at 40 degrees.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
May be hung to dry.
For best results – iron whilst damp.

Lovingly hand woven by a member of our small weaving team in Egypt. Each item has been woven using traditional weaving patterns and ancient weaving techniques that have been handed down over centuries.

It takes two days to weave each scarf. This involves preparing the warp, threading it onto the loom, weaving the scarf and then finishing it.
